80th Independence Day Celebrations
St. Paul Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Jodhpur, celebrated its 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The program began with the chief guests, Mrs. and Mr. Prithviraj Sharma, being garlanded with a tilak (a sacred thread) . The flag was hoisted and the school band performed the national anthem. Students from all houses presented a spectacular parade, saluting the flag and the chief guest. Primary students performed a spectacular drill. Speeches in Hindi and English, imbued with patriotism and nationalism, were presented to mark Independence Day. Exciting patriotic songs and dances, imbued with patriotism, were performed. The chief guest, highlighting the importance of the national festival, inspired students to sacrifice, renounce their country, and cultivate national consciousness. The school principal, Father Clement Cutinho, presented a memento to the chief guest. School student Krishna Gopal Singh Charan thanked all the guests. The program was conducted by Prekshita Singh, Lakshya Singh, Atharva Gehlot and Rajvansh.
